Set to open in late October, Sunnybrae’s new luxury marquee, Ìkos, is on the way to becoming South Australia’s new go-to wedding venue. Ìkos sits in the middle of the beautiful, well-kept landscapes of the estate which is truly breath-taking, with gorgeous gardens that wrap right around. It provides an atmosphere that helps it become the truly beautiful wedding venue it is.
With 180-degree views direct from the altar, Ìkos presents the beauty of Adelaide in the best way possible. Painted in neutral colours, with natural stone highlights, Ìkos has an entire wall of large glass windows to ensure that the beautiful landscape surrounding the venue become part of its allure. The whimsical gardens wrapped around Ìkos flow into the interior, with floral bouquets and styling intertwining the venue with nature.
Ìkos has a very quiet, intimate feel with soft lighting, which is used effectively to deepen the mood of the space and overlay the room with a sense of class. The venue is filled with round tables that can seat anywhere between 100 to 170 people, however, standing, the venue is able to hold a maximum of 250 guests.
