SA’s newest music festival, Stone & Dust, set to take over the Limestone Coast

Drapht, Seth Sentry and Spiderbait will be taking over the Limestone Coast this November with a new music festival coming to SA.

Say g’day to South Australia’s newest music festival, Stone & Dust, and to say its kicking off with a bang is an understatement. Coming to the Limestone Coast this November, the festival will be held in the 150 year old Old Mount Gambier Gaol, making it a truly unique atmosphere to experience.

Starting at 12pm, the new addition to Adelaide’s festival scene will feature performances by some of Australia’s best live musicians. So, who are they you ask? Let me tell you.

First off the bat is the group that revived Black Betty and turned it into an Aussie anthem – Spiderbait. The alternative rockers will take to the stage bringing their energetic presence to rip the lid off Mount Gambier.

Joining them will be Melbourne group, Kingswood whose self-describe rock, blues and love-inspired music has taken Australia and the world by storm.

With two ARIA’s under his belt, Drapht is Australian hip-hop royalty with a catalogue of classic songs that feature his infamous lyrics and melodic hooks.

Rounding out the first drop of artists is none other than Australian hip-hop superstar, Seth Sentry. With a career spanning over 15 years, Seth has earned a legion of fans worldwide, cementing himself not just as one of the most exciting artists of the decade, but as a jaw-dropping live performer.

With more support acts yet to be announced, Stone & Dust is shaping up to be a must-attend event that will hopefully return year after year. Great music, delicious food, funky bars and unique location – why wouldn’t you make the trip down the Limestone Coast?
