The Gathered Spring Design Market, which first began in 2015, has found a new home this time around at the Market Shed on Holland in Adelaide’s CBD.
“It is with immense relief and great excitement that we take Gathered to a new venue – The Market Shed on Holland, after leaving Torrens Parade Ground in winter,” Jenna O’Dell, the founder of Gathered SA, said.
The market comes around multiple times a year, and it’s on again this weekend featuring a diverse lineup of South Australia’s top creative vendors and market stalls.
“I am particularly excited to see South Australians gather at our new home which is so well suited to everything we’re about,” said Jenna.
“There is no better time to get out and about than Spring, so round up your friends and family and join us for a weekend of shopping, delicious food, live entertainment and of course, good company,” said Jenna.
This upcoming Gathered Spring Design Market promises attendees an immersive weekend filled with retail, food, and beverages, featuring over 60 local South Australian vendors. The offerings at the market will encompass a wide range of products, from homewares to art, clothing, accessories, and more.
Some of the returning favourites at the market include Reb Cosmetics, Picnic Mantra, LC Clay Co, and jeweler Ali Bull, among others. Additionally, Gathered is excited to welcome new vendors such as Grosgrain and Amy Jane Art to the market.
In addition to shopping for unique items, visitors to the market can indulge in a delicious array of food from local producers like Thai Guy and Pizza Reggina. They can also enjoy coffee, wine, and cocktails provided by Chesterfield Whiskey Firm and Heaps Good Spirits.
This new location at the Market Shed on Holland comes after the recent opening of Gathered’s first ever bricks-and-mortar store which is located on Hahndorf’s main street.
“We have so many exciting things happening now for Gathered…Locking in this new design market location, along with our brand new Hahndorf store, has been a wild but wonderful rollercoaster and I’m so excited to see where it will all take Gathered in the future,” Jenna said.
In the past Gathered has also been involved in raising funds through the events for charities such as the Lobethal CFS and the Native Animal Network, and this year part of the $3 entry proceeds will be going to Love Out Loud which a not-for-profit that supports future generations to live a life of inspired action and lead the world with mindfulness, awareness and love.
