Satisfy Your Cravings For French Food & Wine With Bonjour Barossa This Sunday

This indoor event will be serving up the best of France, plus there’s a pop up wine bar, entertainment and even stuff for the kids.

Held at Seppeltsfield the week prior to Bastille Day (French National Day), Bonjour Barossa is a celebration of French wine, food, and culture.

After the sell-out success of 2016, Bonjour Barossa returns to herald an accumulation of French delights, including boulangerie (baked goods), patisserie (pastries and desserts) and charcuterie (cured and smoked meats), alongside other French staples from local providore and artisan producers such as Boulangerie 113, authentic French patisserie, Mulots, and cheesemakers, Udder Delights.

Likewise, the event will include a wine bar, performances by Parisian jazz band The Baker Suite, culinary demonstrations from renowned cooking school Le Cordon Bleu, a walking tour, champagne masterclasses, and a selection of homeware and gift stalls. For kids, there will be junior sous chef workshops, puppet shows, and themed face-painting.

Of course, there is the concern of the weather. Nobody wants to stand around in the rain, even if there is the enticement of patisserie. With great presence of forethought, Bonjour Barossa has planned for the event to be indoors – if only for the fact that nobody likes a soggy pastry.

To save yourself the worry of turning up to the event and no tickets being available, there is the option to buy pre-sale online (and save yourself $5 for a glass of wine!). Tickets are $15 available at eventbrite.com and are $20 at the door.

Discover the magic in your own back yard and be transported to the cobbled streets of Paris this Winter.
