KAYA Desserts is the latest, yummiest, sweet spot in town after opening its doors in April on Hutt Street.

This late-night Southeast Asian-inspired dessert house fuses Malaysian, Cambodian, and other Southeast Asian traditions together, and is open from 6pm until late to satisfy your sweet cravings.

Hutt Street boasts many fantastic dessert options, but when it comes to late-night indulgences, choices are limited. KAYA Desserts steps in to fill this gap with its scrumptious menu and extended operating hours, promising a experience like no other for dessert lovers.

From classic favourites like mango and pandan bingsu, to innovative creations infused with fruits and toppings, there’s something for every sweet tooth.

Among their standout desserts are their signature dishes like pandan toasts, cookie butter toast, milo dinosaur bingsu, Thai tea bingsu, pandan lava bingsu, and their latest addition, the pink volcano bingsu.

But, the deliciousness doesn’t stop there – KAYA Desserts have homemade soufflé pancakes and jiggly puddings, which promise a surprise element when they are opened.

At the core of KAYA Desserts is the term ‘Kaya’ which has cultural significance throughout Southeast Asia. Beyond its literal translation of ‘rich and wealthy’ in Malay, ‘Kaya’ embodies the meaning of a richness of culture and flavour that resonates deeply with the team behind KAYA desserts.

The menu is curated by their head dessert chef who has a diverse background in Adelaide’s culinary scene, formerly working with venues like Shosho and Sunny’s Shop.

Drawing from their successful past ventures, including the pop-up AROMALAY at establishments like Lucky Dumpling Market and WOMADelaide, the founders of KAYA Desserts bring a wealth of experience, knowledge and passion to their latest delicious dessert house.

KAYA Desserts offers a cozy yet vibrant setting where guests can truly immerse themselves in the indulgent world of sweet treats. If you’re a dessert lover, KAYA Desserts promises a delicious journey for your senses. Walk right on in, they don’t take bookings!
