Save the Date because Big Shed Brewing is celebrating a decade of brewing

Big Shed Brewing is celebrating 10 years of original craft beers, vodka and gin with a birthday bash for the ages at their Port Road brewery.

Gear up for three October days chock-full of celebrations and ‘Shednanigans’ at Big Shed Brewing’s 10-year birthday bash.

Owners and brewers Jason Harris and Craig Basford are delivering a party “Big Shed style” to recognise their accomplishments in providing South Australia with delicious, innovative flavours of beer, one of the most consumed types of alcohol by Australians.

Ten years in business is a significant milestone for any business and it is important to remember the roots of your business, its growing pains and huge successes.

Starting their experiments in a rented shed in the Barossa, big enough to fit any form of equipment imaginable, Jason and Craig concocted some cracking flavours, as well as some (and I quote) “abominations” that show a lot of growth in their skill from this hobby turned living.

Through their ten years at their Port Road space, the Big Shed team have grown into one of SA’s biggest and best breweries having made some amazing flavour combinations, hosting events like quiz nights and live music Saturdays, as well as sponsoring other Adelaide staples including their newest partnership with the Adelaide 36rs, with the release of four new beers.

There is truly something for everyone even if you find beer off-putting, as the simple act of infusing beer with a familiar flavour like fruit makes it more accessible and downright tasty. If you love your beer, why not expand your palate and try the Golden Stout Time Dessert Stout (don’t you dare ask for the chicken salt one).

So, what should we expect from three days of “Big Shed Style” partying?

If their live music Saturdays and their recent West Fest weekend is anything to go by, Big Shed Brewing knows how to throw any type of party. Expect an atmosphere filled with good tunes, flowing alcohol ranging from their first creation the iconic FrankenBROWN ale, to their Wishful Drinking gin.

Expect delectable food selections from their delicious menu like melt-in-your-mouth smoked brisket or their visionary schnitzza.

It is still early days so for more details in terms of music acts, market stalls, food trucks and possible special birthday flavours (wink wink) will be available on Big Shed Brewing’s social media, as the date approaches.

Date: 21 October-23 October, 12:00pm-6:00pm

Address: 1154 Old Port Rd, Royal Park SA 5014
