Everyone loves a good Schnitty, but there are so many variations on the Aussie culinary classic. Are you a beef or chicken person? Do you like mushrooms, gravy, or cheese and tomato? No matter what your preference, we can guarantee you’ve never experienced Schnitzels like this.
SchnittFest is an event that’s happening as part of Tasting Australia on Monday April 8th, and it’s giving the ol’ Schnitty a culinary shake up.
Together for one night only, SchnittFest is bringing together the best of all worlds – chefs, producers and craft beer brewers, just for you.
Behind the grill you’ll find: Momofuku Seiobo’s Paul Carmichael (Gourmet Traveller No. 2 Restaurant of the Year), Philip Rachinger (Restaurant Muhltalhof, Linz, Austria) and four of Adelaide’s favourite food identities Poh Ling Yeow (Jamface), Jessie Spiby (My Grandma Ben), Matt Eustis (The Stag Public House) and artisan producer Saskia Beer.
Equally inspiring is what’s ON the grill: a lineup of South Australia’s finest meats and treats curated by superstar butcher Richard Gunner. And from one butcher to another, flights of locally crafted butchers of beer will be available for purchase throughout the night.
For $46.94, you’ll get to enjoy 2 hours of Schnitty heaven at the Stag Public House, with punters able to kick on in the front bar once the session is over.
**As all schnitzels will be served crumbed, gluten free/coeliac dietary requirements cannot be accommodated.
