After a huge debut last year, Sconefest is returning in 2019 as part of Umbrella Winter City Sounds Festival.

Taking place on July 21, the Emma Knights Production festival is described as a nostalgic community event. It’s in the mixture of scones and music by South Australian local artists who are in the process of breaking out.

Artists who will be entertaining you with their music include Frank Loves Joan, Pat H. WILSON and Adrian M Barnes, Hannah Yates Music, Kate Neville and more.

Scones are from the Country Women’s Association (CWA) Adelaide Branch, the jam on that is the amazing tunes you’ll be listening to. Alright fine, there’s two types of jam, the condiment and the act of musicians playing together.

You’re even recommended to bring your voice or instrument for a jam session at the end of the festival. Before then, you can gorge yourself on gorgeous scones by the CWA. If you consider yourself a baker, you can also participate in the Best Scone Fest. For a small entry fee, bring a batch of your scones for the CWA to judge and you can take home the title and a prize!

Roving Cafe will be there to sell a cup of local T BAR TEA SALON or Cirelli Coffee Roasting to complement your scones.

Tickets start from $12 and include your first serve of scones. Sconefest is on July 21 2019 , 2pm – 4.30pm at the North Adelaide Community Centre at 176 Tynte Street, North Adelaide.
