Soccer Locker is gearing up for their 8th birthday celebrations, which will kick off at their Findon store this October.
The first Soccer Locker store was opened by Jamie Goode opened in Findon eight years ago with his wife Penny, and they recently opened a second store on Grote Street last September.
“We can’t wait to share our celebrations with Adelaide and thank the community for supporting us,” Penny says.

“There’ll be lots of great bargains, but it will also be an opportunity for a social event, to socialise with other people from the soccer community. It will also be a chance to say thank you and how much we appreciate everyone’s support,” Penny says.

Jamie has proudly built Soccer Locker from the ground up, starting the store from a humble grassroots level.
“Jamie saw a gap in the market for a dedicated soccer store, there were a couple around at the time, but particularly for goal keeper wear. There wasn’t a huge range of goal keeper gloves, and being a goal keeper himself he found it was often difficult to find the right gloves and accessories for that, so he decided to open a small online store and gradually grew it from that,” Penny says.
“He started with a few products he put on eBay and expended to an online platform and then opened the physical store. Having two stores, it has just been amazing, our website is Australia-wide and now worldwide. It has just gone from strength to strength, it is amazing.
“We have found the soccer community in Adelaide is amazing and it has given us lots of opportunities to work with them. We have lots of loyal customers, we have had people that Jamie has seen grow up from being kids and now playing at a more elite level.”
