Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox are returning to Australia and New Zealand in 2025 for their globally anticipated “MAGIC & MOONLIGHT” World Tour. The tour, celebrating a significant milestone of 1,000 performances, will kick off on February 4th, and will span 34 cities across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
Postmodern Jukebox is known for its creative spin on popular modern music by infusing it with classic jazz, swing, and Motown styles. The tour’s start in Darwin at the Entertainment Centre marks the beginning of a series of high-profile shows across major Australian cities including Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Geelong, Sydney, Canberra, Wollongong, Gold Coast, and Brisbane.
In Adelaide, their show is Sunday February 9th at the Festival Theatre.
Scott Bradlee, the creator and show director of Postmodern Jukebox, shared “If we’ve learned anything from ten years of touring the world, it’s that great music has the ability to transcend time and space in a way that is best described as ‘magic.’” He further explained, “Our ‘Moonlight & Magic’ World Tour is meant to celebrate this phenomenon through breathtaking live performances that will be remembered long after the curtain falls.”
Concertgoers can expect to enter a parallel musical universe where modern-day earworms and iconic pop hits alike are reimagined in classic genres like 1920s jazz, Swing, Doo-wop and Motown, and brought to life by a cast of some of the world’s best singers, dancers, and instrumentalists. Think “The Great Gatsby” meets “Sinatra at the Sands” meets “Back! …To The Future”.
Since their inception, Postmodern Jukebox has transformed from a viral YouTube sensation into a live performance powerhouse, often referred to as the “Saturday Night Live of singers.” Their innovative concept has catapulted dozens of artists to stardom and garnered a massive following, with over two billion views on YouTube.
Each Postmodern Jukebox show is a unique celebration of music’s enduring appeal, bridging generational gaps and redefining musical boundaries.
