Seafood on Spencer is a much-loved biennial event that was proudly awarded ‘Event of the Year’ by the Barunga West Council, which combines the freshest catches and the finest local flavours straight to the stunning foreshore of Port Broughton.

Making its grand return on Saturday, March 29th, Seafood on Spencer is a family-friendly festival that is more than just a feast—it’s an immersive, educational experience that showcases the journey of Spencer Gulf seafood.
Visitors will have the rare opportunity to learn directly from local fishermen, watch live seafood preparation, and get hands-on with the processes behind South Australia’s renowned seafood industry.
Get up close with local fishing vessels and chat with the experts who bring Spencer Gulf’s world-class seafood to market. Then enjoy top-notch dishes made by South Australian chefs from Kuti Shack, Peel Street, Fahrenheit, and Bees Knees. They’ll be cheffing up incredible seafood dishes, prepared straight from the source.



Pair all this and more with a premium selection of drinks from some of South Australia’s best distilleries, breweries, and wineries, including Pikes, Sunnyhill, and Watsacowie.
