New York. Where the Hudson and East rivers empty into one of the world’s biggest harbours. Where hot dog carts sit proudly alongside prestigious, international restaurants that serve locals and visitors alike.
Thanks to Sean’s Kitchen, you can now travel from Adelaide to Brooklyn without even setting foot in an airport.
Sean’s Kitchen’s all-new menu, ‘Streets of New York’, has launched for the month of February and will deliver some of New York’s more iconic dishes.

The menu captures the energy felt through New York’s famous street food scene: the reuben sandwich, packed with corned beef, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut; the 250g Kiwami Wagyu Striploin steak, and the Manhattan clam chowder, with rich tomato, clam and bacon broth. You can follow the menu and bounce from borough to borough all over the big apple.
Then, for dessert, you can indulge in a classic New York Cheesecake, or hop over the bridge for a delicious Coney Island Funnel Cake.
And for cocktail-lovers, have we got news for you. How’s a watermelon and moscato slushie to quench your thirst? Or the Greenwich Village Sour, with bourbon, lemon, sugar, bitters, wonder foam and a red wine float.

Having opened in 2014 as a modern take on a New York-style brasserie, Sean’s Kitchen is a celebration of New York culinary classics and extraordinary South Australian produce.
Executive Chef at Sean’s Kitchen, Sean Connolly, is one of Australia and New Zealand’s most well-respected chefs, with a wealth of international accolades. His goal is to bring a taste of New York to Adelaide.
“Our food is classic, it is simple, and it’s elegant. The streets of New York are not always like that, but from them has come this incredible culture where on every corner there’s something exciting, something you don’t expect,” Sean says.
Whether you have all night or just a New York minute to spare, Sean’s Kitchen will be ready to sling you some delicious American food.
Each Friday from 4pm to 6pm they’ll be slinging hot dogs and tasting boards, and throughout the week, you can dine-in at the historic ground level of Adelaide Railway Station amid heritage architecture and the open, energetic, fire-filled kitchen.
