SeaSalt Reopens At Henley Beach

While we wait for the warmer weather to make an appearance, there’s a new destination to sip cocktails and feast on oysters with ocean views.

While we wait for the warmer weather to make an appearance, there’s a new destination to sip cocktails and feast on oysters with ocean views. Well, new-ish.

Sitting underneath Melt at Henley Beach, SeaSalt has re-opened this week with a beachy refresh.

The Henley hotspot is stepping things up with a new menu serving up quality seafood, from Coffin Bay Pacific oysters and hiramasa kingfish sashimi, to smoked eel croquettes, Singaporean chilli fish wings, sardine ‘bolognese’, and Boston Bay chowder.

You can, of course, still get your standard fish and chips, and there are options for the kids. Or if you really want to splash out, there’s the SeaSalt chilli or pepper mudcrab – you just need to give them 24 hours notice for this one.

And if decision-making isn’t your forte, the $75 per person tasting menu will get you a selection of five of their top dishes to share.

You can relax with table service, or the takeaway window gives you the option to take your feast with you. SeaSalt is open from midday Wednesday to Friday, and from 9am for brunch on the weekend.

The re-opening will be properly launched with a celebration on Sunday August 19 from 11am. The fire pits will be blazing, and along with the full menu there will be an oyster station, fresh seafood off the hibachi grill, and $10 signature cocktails all day.

Sea Salt is at 269 Seaview Rd, Henley Beach. Click here for more info!
