See all the delicious food stalls you can sink your teeth into at this year’s Lucky Dumpling Market

The popular food event is held at Elder park as part of OzAsia Festival and has been extended from its 2021 season due to popular demands.

It’s become one of the most anticipated events on the Adelaide events calendar and now the Lucky Dumpling Market is returning to banks of the Torrens bringing the best of Asian street food to Elder Park. Due to the overwhelming response in years past, this year’s market has been extended to meet demands.

Following its success in 2021 with over 114,000 visitors to the market, organisers have increased the length of the season, now four weekends and three weeks. Returning to Elder Park on the banks of the River Torrens and boasting 26 outstanding food vendors and 4 bars – including one specialising in sake – the Lucky Dumpling Market will operate six nights per week plus weekends in the daytime.

Event co-director, Elena Kirschbaum says “We’ve been wowed by the community’s support for this market every year and predict it will become very busy at peak times, particularly weekend dinner times. We’re really encouraging patrons to visit us midweek or earlier on weekends, so we can serve as many dumpling lovers as possible.”

An OzAsia Festival program highlight, the popular market is delivered each year by the team behind popular Adelaide Fringe hub, Gluttony.

“The Gluttony team is excited to bring Lucky Dumpling Market back to the Adelaide Riverbank precinct this Spring, in this picturesque, spacious, open-air location,” Ms Kirschbaum said.

“Lucky Dumpling Market in 2022 will be one of our first events without Covid-19 restrictions since 2020, and we’re thrilled to announce increased capacities and more food and beverage vendors than ever before.”

More vendors have been added to the largest line-up the market has ever seen, including new and returning favourites:
