Semaphore has long been a meeting place for friends and family in summer time since anyone can remember and the Semaphore Summer Carnival is fast becoming an icon of the summer holidays for South Australians.
The Semaphore Summer Carnival is coming back again with the start of a new season of beachside fun starting Saturday 11th of December and going through until the 30th of January.
The seaside spot is the place to be with a variation of entertainment this summer season. With thrill rides, dodgem cars, sideshow games and much more, parents will struggle finding something for the kids these school holidays.
Semaphore is the perfect setting this summer for a day out with the family or friends. Semaphore provides shallow swimming areas by the sea and a main street filled with restaurants, boutiques and the charm of yesteryear.
The Semaphore Summer Carnival is held every day except Christmas Day. The carnival is also the perfect setting to sit on the sand and enjoy the celebrations of New Years Eve and Australia Day with a popular fireworks display which has been enjoyed by locals and visitors for many years.
The carnival is open 7 days a week 11am until late.
