Seniors Bare All for 2020 Calendar Raising Funds For Charity

The Nature Strip is a 2020 calendar showcasing creative images of naked older people and their unique and special relationships with nature.

South Australian seniors are baring all to celebrate life, ageing and art and it’s for a very good cause.

The Nature Strip is a 2020 calendar showcasing creative images of naked older people and their unique and special relationships with nature. Among them are 11 senior ladies from Allegria, an Adelaide a cappella singing group.

The calendar is an initiative of Council on the Ageing (COTA) SA and will be available for sale during the over 50s advocacy organisation’s festival for modern ageing, ZestFest, held from October 14 – 28. It will be sold for $10 with proceeds being split between the Nature Conservation Society of South Australia and ZestFest 2020, which is a not-for-profit festival.

“Our ageing journey is a beautiful gift and needs to be celebrated,” said ZestFest festival director Jayne Boase, also a member of the singing group. “Models for The Nature Strip, women and men, are bravely baring all to showcase beauty, the old and gnarly, and bring reminders of nature into our everyday world. We expect the gorgeously styled calendar to be popular with both young and old.”

Copies of The Nature Strip calendar can be purchased by calling (08) 8232 0422.
