Sensory wine experience WineLab returns to SA’s Museum of Discovery

WineLab returns to SA’s Museum of Discovery, bringing science and wine together for one night to present the ultimate sensory experience.

UniSA’s Museum of Discovery (MOD) returns with their 2021 WineLab event, showcasing fourteen local wineries and bringing wine, art and science together in this unique cross-sensory experience.

Following a year off with the pandemic, the event will take place on Friday November 26th, with guests being able to immerse themselves in the lights and sounds of this futuristic museum, whilst sipping wines from big name labels including –

  • Kay Brothers
  • Majella
  • Mount Benson Estate
  • Schild Estate

  • The Pawn Wine Co.

Presented by the South Australian Wine Industry Association, MOD and Adelaide a Great Wine Capital of the World, an auditory wine pairing of tunes selected by each winery will accompany your tastings, offering that ultimate sensory journey.

Delicious bites will be served up by Food Lore, with food included in the ticket price as well as a Great Wine Capital wine glass as yours to keep, plus two tasting tokens allocated to the featured wineries to be redeemed.

Once your tasting tokens have been exchanged, wine will be available for purchase directly from the wineries by the half-glass, glass or bottle, or packaged and taken home.

The event will also be the last chance for the public to view MOD.’s current exhibition It’s Complicated, an exhibition that pulls back the curtain on just how complicated and complex the world can be.

Two 2-hour sessions are allocated for this event, wit the first at 4.30pm to 6.30pm and the second at 7pm to 9pm. Tickets are limited so getting in early is advised to avoid missing out.
