The team behind Korean restaurant Busan Baby on Morphett St have opened a new café right next door for night-time Korean sweet treats!

Seoul Sweetie is described as the “girlfriend” of the original venue which opened earlier this year, with its own individual style and atmosphere.

Dessert chef Jinny, who hails from Seoul (hence the name), is the mastermind behind Busan Baby’s infamous chiffon cakes and is heading up the new venture, which offers pristine desserts in a relaxed environment.

The menu aims to bring the latest dessert and coffee trends from Korea to Adelaide.

Ever heard of a croiffle? If you’re a fan of croissants and waffles, you need to try this combination.

Seoul Sweetie will also be serving bubble tea soft serve and believe they could be the only place in Adelaide serving dalgona coffee; a whipped coffee which is all the rage in Korea.

And just in time for summer, bingsu is also on the menu. The shaved ice creation feels like you’re eating snowflakes and can be topped with a range of flavours such as fresh mango and lychee.

Seoul Sweetie is open Thursday to Sunday from 6.30pm to late.

You can find Seoul Sweetie at 270 Morphett St, Adelaide SA 5000.
