Seppeltsfield Road Distillers have announced the release of their award-winning fourth vintage of the popular SRD Shiraz Gin, which has been ranked as the #1 flavoured gin in Australia, also taking home a staggeringly impressive second spot in the world rankings.
The Shiraz Gin received gold in both the World Gin Masters and International Wine & Spirits Competition, celebrated for its premium Barossa Shiraz grapes, macerated for 6 – 8 weeks in SRD’s internationally awarded House Gin.

2021’s vintage offers delicious flavours of chocolate-coated blueberries, cinnamon and ripe satsuma plums delivering vibrant, bright and rich Shiraz fruit characteristics. This latest release of the Shiraz Gin has a drier finish than previous releases, differing from the orange, citrus characters of the 2020 vintage.
The luscious combination can be enjoyed neat, with a cube of ice or a splash of tonic, paired with a slice of lime, or tried in your favourite gin cocktail for a twist.
The perfect serving suggestion to create your own ‘Murder on the Cellar Floor’ at home:
45ml 2021 Shiraz Gin
30ml yellow grapefruit juice
15ml lime juice
15ml agave syrup
Shake all together and fine strain the mixture into a small number over ice.
Slide a twist of grapefruit along the rim of the glass before dropping in the number to garnish and serve immediately.
