Do you love spending your weekend at wineries but have a paw shaped hole in your heart, leaving your bestie at home? Me too. Fear not! Serafino Wines at the scenic McLaren Vale are holding the first ever dog-friendly event this Sunday.
They’re celebrating Paws for a Cause, and all funds from the fundraiser will be shared amongst the rescues and charities attending on the day.
There will be plenty of food and a DJ on the day you can enjoy while supporting a range of local animal rescues, charities and community organisations.
If bringing your dog to a winery wasn’t enough, there will be a best-dressed dog competition, so be sure to put on their favourite outfit. There will also be a crowning of the McLaren Vale Winery Dog of the Year King and Queen.
The day will consist of animal rescues and adoptions, cooking demonstration from celebrity chef and dog lover Simon Bryant, a raffle with your chance to win a pallet of wine, a bouncy castle, face painting and Jim’s Dog Wash vans.
Serafino Wines is a family owned business, established in 1964 when Steve (Serafino) Maglieri migrated from Italy to Australia. It encompasses 300 acres of prime McLaren Vale vineyards with an impressive Winery, Restaurant, Cellar Door and four-star accommodation.
It’s a gold coin donation for entry and goes to charity. Bring the whole fam this Sunday at Serafino Wines for a memorable day this Sunday 6 May 2018 10:00am-4:00pm at 39 Kangarilla Road, McLaren Vale.
