The official St. Patrick’s Day on Sunday the 17th of March is always a massive party at Mick O’Shea’s, with last year’s celebration bringing in a massive 1000 people to the popular Irish pub. This year, the team have decided to spread out the festivities over the whole weekend, with Shenanigans Fest kickin’ off on Saturday and the traditional St. Paddy’s continuing on Sunday.
Local legend DJ Normie B will start the Shenanigan Fest party, which consists of an entertainment lineup that’s more stacked than a plate of Irish soda bread.
Popular Melbourne DJs and your soon-to-be favourite senior citizens-turned-rockstars, The Rockafellas, have escaped the nursing home to bring their high-energy set to SA. Famously donned in their Adidas trackies, the DJ duo have brought the party vibes to parties and festivals all over the country and are ready to push over their walkers and ditch the canes for a night of Irish mayhem.
Joining the Rockafellas is OG Red Wiggle turned DJ Murray Cook, who’ll be on the decks for a set that’ll have you shakin’ your shamrocks on the dancefloor. Australia’s #1 Party DJ, Jesse James, will continue the beats along with the one and only Brooklyn, spinning the bangers well into the night.
Renowned for its old-school hospitality, Mick O’Shea’s features a cracking seasonal menu of pub classics and restaurant-quality meals with an evolving list of tap beers and an extensive wine list showcasing some of the neighbouring McLaren Vale faves.
With an Irish-inspired menu to commemorate the festivities, it’s also one of the few pubs in SA that has the rich, creamy and distinctively black Guinness on tap—making Mick O’Shea’s the perfect spot for all the lucky leprechauns this St. Patrick’s Day.
