Shōbōsho Roll Out New Japanese-Style Dim Sum Menu This Weekend

Shōbōsho is about to take things up a notch by offering dim sum ahead of the June long weekend.

After a red hot start to life on Leigh St since its opening early April, Shōbōsho is about to take things up a notch by offering dim sum on weekends.

Starting over the June long weekend (Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June), Shōbōsho will offer its take on the greatest breakfast in the world, with two sittings (11am and 1pm) each Saturday and Sunday.

Just in time for winter, dim sum at Shōbōsho will have something for all; for football fans on their way to Adelaide Oval, a get-together with family that doesn’t involve a roast, or those with a killer hangover from the night before.

Ollie Margan (award-winning cocktail designer and partner in Maybe Mae) has designed breakfast cocktails, and cold-pressed juices will be on offer to accompany the menu; the full sake & wine list will be available too.

Chef Adam Liston will be drawing on his experience from working in China, and whilst the dishes will pay homage to the traditional dim sum concept, there will be a distinctly contemporary twist:

“What we are offering is a modern take on dim sum. Our difference is the quality of ingredients. We have guys from Hong Kong making dumplings to our recipe and with high quality produce. We give a nod to tradition but with modern techniques and twists,” said Liston.

Dim sum at Shōbōsho starts this Saturday 10 June.

Bookings for Shōbōsho are recommended anyway, but particularly for dim sum. Book online at shobosho.com.au
