While here in Adelaide for the Telstra SA Business Awards, Shoes of Prey founder, Jodie Fox, gave us the hot scoop about Adelaide women and the heels they love!
If you haven’t heard about Shoes Of Prey, you may have been living under a rock and we will give you a little information to get you up to speed… it started off as a concept inspired by co-founder Jodie Fox’s personal experiences, and has gone on to become a global, multi-channel retail brand that enables shoppers to design their own shoes online.
In talking about the creation of the now super popular and ever growing company, Jodie says, “I was solving a problem of my own. I’d always liked shoes, but I never loved them because I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for. Either it wasn’t quite the right colour, there was an embellishment I didn’t like, not quite the right heel height.”
So, from that one small thought, came the idea that women should be able to choose their shoes – and so, Shoes of Prey was born.
Jodie Fox was in town on Friday 10 July and was a keynote speaker at the Telstra SA Business Awards. As a previous winner of the award, she shared her business tips and advice with some of the state’s best small – medium business heads!
While she was here, we found out from the woman in the know about which heel the women in Adelaide love the most! And what you have all been waiting to find out… the votes are in, and the kitten heel has it!
South Australian women prefer style over height, with the vast majority of ladies opting for the sleek, stylish and always comfortable, kitten heel (5.5 cm) over mid (7cm) or high (12cm) heels.
