Showcase has announced its industry expo, a curated program of events bringing together local business owners and decision-makers to collaborate on upcoming large-scale infrastructure projects.
This event is a first for Showcase SA. In partnership with the Office of the Industry Advocate, the expo will help SMEs and large companies across industries connect with decision makers and the brightest minds in the business sector.
This event will allow businesses to gain insight into upcoming tenders and large-scale infrastructure projects, and it will serve to promote the current state government objective of using local companies in public projects to grow our local economy and create jobs.
The event, to be held Wednesday, 28 April, will be centred around four main industries: space, construction, defence and technology.
The day will be split into three parts and will be jam-packed with activities.
There will be industry briefings announcing upcoming projects within the four industries, followed by a series of panel Q&As.
Throughout the entire day, there will be a free-flowing exhibition of businesses showcasing how they can contribute to these upcoming projects.
A business support centre, or “Business Hub”, will also be available for business leaders to receive one-on-one expert advice on how to bid on projects or become tender ready.
As a special perk for members there will be a free Insights Luncheon, which non-members can access for $150 (+GST).
Sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities will be available.
