Showcase SA celebrates women in philanthropy at International Women’s Day Lunch

Showcase SA’s International Women’s Day Lunch will honour inspiring female leaders in philanthropy in a celebration of impactful charitable work.

Showcase SA is gearing up to host an unforgettable celebration of inspiring female leaders from diverse industries at an exclusive long lunch this International Women’s Day.

This highly anticipated annual event will be held in the grand event centre in Morphettville on Friday 28th February. The glamorous three-hour event is Showcase SA’s 5th International Women’s Day lunch, and follows a stellar line up of speakers from previous years including Flavia Tata Nardini, Dr Samantha Pillay and Taryn Brumfitt.

In 2025, Showcase SA will be shining a spotlight on extraordinary women driving meaningful change through impactful charitable work. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to connect with trailblazers who are reshaping their communities and making a lasting difference while enjoying a sophisticated 2-course long lunch.

The event, which is open to the public to purchase tickets to, is also an opportunity to see behind the closed curtain of Showcase SA events, which are usually reserved for members-only. The events bring together a diverse network of professionals from various industries, to help bring businesses together for positive outcomes.

This year’s speakers include Kay Burton, Jannine Jackson, Jaylee Cooper, and Kim Vanstone.

Kay Burton is a Co-Founder of the Burton Foundation and Founder of the SA Philanthropy Network and channels her energy into providing support to others in their philanthropic endeavours. Kay has over 15 years of executive experience in the United States and Australia and is a passionate advocate dedicated to advancing philanthropy.

Jannine Jackson is a renowned non-profit leader and CEO of the Sammy D Foundation, with over 20 years of experience. She was the first Australian to win an International Fundraising Award for Excellence and has raised over $100 million for organisations like the Australian Red Cross, Mission Australia, and the McGrath Foundation.

Jaylee Cooper is the manager of philanthropy and engagement at Catherine House. She is passionate about making a difference and is deeply committed to supporting women experiencing homelessness through Catherine House’s impactful work. She has been dedicated to the non-profit sector since 2005.

Kim Vanstone bridges the gap between Operation Flinders Foundation’s programs and public support, while frequently visiting Yankaninna Station to witness the life-changing impact of their work firsthand, and is also a Board Member of the Adelaide Business Hub, driven by her enthusiasm for women in business.

These women are unsung heroes, raising awareness and much-needed funds for their causes while away from the limelight. The luncheon offers attendees an opportunity to celebrate their work and hear inspiring stories.

Make the most of this special day by joining a community of like-minded individuals dedicated to advancing, supporting, and celebrating the incredible contributions of inspiring women. With past events selling out quickly, be sure to gather your group, indulge in a delightful long lunch, and hear from inspiring leaders.

Tickets are open to everyone, including Showcase SA members and non-members.
