There will be a ‘significant’ number of tickets for tonight’s AFL match between Geelong and the Western Bulldogs at Adelaide Oval available, with all proceeds directed to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Priced at $10 each, these tickets can be purchased at the southern gates ticket booth, thanks to a partnership with Ticketek.
This opportunity arises due to fans departing after the Carlton v Fremantle game, part of today’s doubleheader.
Those unable to attend the Geelong v Western Bulldogs match, scheduled for the evening, have the option to transfer their tickets via the Ticketek app to friends or family. Alternatively, they can opt for a refund by returning their tickets through the app by 9am ACDT on the day of the match.
Fans who have tickets for the day’s first game but cannot stay for the second have been encouraged to return their tickets at the South Plaza Box Office. These will then be available for purchase by those who missed out on the initially sold-out event, again for $10 each, with no option for a refund for those who return their tickets after the first game.
Transport to and from the game is facilitated by the Adelaide Metro’s Footy Express, offering free travel on buses, trains, and trams for ticket holders. Additionally, casual parking is available at various locations around the venue, with prices starting at $23, payable by card.
Attendees should also note several road closures around Adelaide Oval to accommodate the event, ensuring smooth access and departure from the venue.
