After 40 years of wine making, Simon Hackett Winery have recently announced that they now celebrate weddings.
You can now hold your wedding ceremony and reception at the picturesque winery only 35 minutes from the Adelaide CBD!
A brand new dining room and terrace sits only metres from the sweeping vineyard, which has a premium clear curved marquee that will protects guests from the weather all year round that will ensure even winter weddings are truly special.
Ceremonies will be held on the intimate cellar door lawns in front of the winery’s old fig tree overlooking the sweeping vines. Post ceremony, guests can mingle on the large lawns for pre-dinner drinks, canapés, and games, and later, receptions will take place in the newly renovated dining room and adjoining terrace.
The winery offers four different food packages: the pizza party for $130 pp, shared dinner for $165pp, cocktail for $150pp, and a formal dinner for $165pp. Simon Hackett Winery’s $95pp 5 hour estate beverage package includes drinks and allows you to organise and bring your own food caterer to serve guests on the special day.
Already have your dream food and drinks menu in mind? Simon Hackett’s dry hire option allows you to hire the winery and bring in your own caterer and drinks. With this option, the winery and their furniture is all yours for one set up day as well as the wedding day.
The McLaren Vale winery’s cellar door and gardens area can host weddings of up to 200 people, and their beautiful grounds are the ideal backdrop for a wedding ceremony or reception. The couple and their wedding party can dance and drink the night away while reveling in the serene garden and admiring the vineyard view.
The family-run winery often hosts events on their beautiful grounds, such as Day Dance Festival and Folkloria each year. The staff at Simon Hackett Winery have planned and executed successful events many times before and are well-suited to organise and run the perfect wedding.
