Get ready, gin lovers—the Riverland is calling. After a wildly successful debut last year, World Gin Weekend is back at 23rd Street Distillery and promising an even bigger, better celebration for 2025.
Held across the June long weekend on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, this immersive celebration of all things gin is an invitation to taste, explore and indulge. With free tastings, gin-inspired sensory experiences, exclusive cocktail creations, and discounted Gin Blending Masterclasses, 23rd Street Distillery is set to transform into a gin lover’s paradise.
“In 2024 we saw a surge of gin lovers in the Riverland region over this weekend,” said Sharee Sharpe, Venue Manager at 23rd Street Distillery. “People had travelled far and wide to attend the event and immerse themselves in everything 23rd Street Distillery had to offer. The atmosphere was incredible—everyone was buzzing from the guests, the staff to the town itself.”
From the moment you step inside, the distillery delivers a full-sensory journey. A complimentary gin tasting station will showcase all seven of the signature gins, accompanied by hand-selected fruits to elevate each pour. Guests can also enjoy gin-infused perfumes designed to highlight the botanicals of each blend and guided tastings led by knowledgeable staff who’ll take you behind the scenes of the distillery’s celebrated spirits.
This year’s event ups the ante with the introduction of a limited Gin Blending Masterclass. For just $65pp, participants will craft and taste three personalised gin blends in an intimate private space, before bottling a 200ml take-home creation. It’s a rare chance to step into the shoes of a master distiller—and walk away with your own unique signature gin.
New in 2025, the distillery will also debut its seasonal winter menu, with gin-inspired dishes crafted to pair perfectly with the cocktails and classics on the bar menu. From warming bites to citrusy twists, the culinary team is taking the gin experience to a whole new level.
