Skate Side Kiosk to open serving fresh Vietnamese cuisine

From the brains behind Oceanique and Tram Side Kiosk comes Vietnamese-cuisine serving Skate Side Kiosk, which will provide eats from Hô Nai Vietnamese Kitchen.

The talented crew behind West Beach’s Oceanique and the Tram Side Kiosk have partnered with Clare’s Hô Nai Vietnamese Kitchen to open a ‘Skate Side Kiosk’ at West Beach Park Skate Park on Africaine Road.

Previously housing a skateboard shop the new set up is sure to appeal to hungry skaters working up an appetite on the skate park’s half pipe and will serve up fresh Vietnamese dishes including cold rolls, banh mi and rice noodle salads.

The Kiosk will officially open Wednesday 1 September and will continue trading every Wednesday to Sunday from 11:30am – 4:30pm.

For those who may not be a fan of Vietnamese cuisine, the kiosk will also serve delicious locally roasted coffee, hot chips, milkshakes and ice cream, as well as a whole host of other tasty treats yet to be announced.

With a panoramic view of the skate park’s bowl and half pipe, visitors to the Kiosk will also be in prime position for Adelaide’s aviation enthusiasts, with uninterrupted views of plane’s landing and taking off at nearby Adelaide airport.

Decked out in a bright pink, the decor of the Kiosk will feature a fun but relaxed atmosphere with tables and chairs overlooking the skatepark.

Featuring seating for up to 30 patrons, Skate Side Kiosk is within close proximity to ample parking facilities for those looking to spend a day marvelling at Adelaide’s skating scene, with parking available on nearby Talpley’s Hill Road and the banks of the Patawalonga River.

The Kiosk, which is currently under construction, looks set to become a popular destination for quick and easy takeaway lunches for the skate park and wider community as well as offering a dine-in option to all.

The venue already has a number of exciting collaborations in the works including an ‘Art Vino and Vinyl’ day with Lindsay Wine Estate. With live street art, wine tastings, and DJ’s spinning some classic Vinyl, the Kiosk and skate park is set to come alive, with fresh treats provided by the kitchen.
