Calling all adrenaline junkies!
For one day only on January 25th, SA Skydiving is offering daredevils the chance to skydive over the bend and then jump into a Mustang or V8 to complete three hot laps around the award-winning Bend race track.
This epic adrenaline-pumping experience will see you meet the SA Skydiving team at the racetrack before getting kitted up and taken down to the onsite airfield. There, you’ll board the custom Cessna 206 aircraft and ascend for a 20-minute scenic flight above the Bend Motorsport Park and Murray River before you climb to your exit altitude.
As you shuffle to the edge and dangle your legs out of the aircraft, feeling the fresh air whipping the plane, things will start to feel very real. You’ll strike a pose for the camera before you take flight and jump out of the plane to skydive back to earth.
As you freefall, you’ll accelerate to 220kph, feeling the adrenaline pump through your veins and the wind rush past your face.
As the parachute opens, everything slows as you take in the stunning views including the birds-eye view of the Bend Motorsport Park. With the assistance of your instructor, you then take control of your parachute, flying around for about 5 minutes before gliding down to land.
Once you’ve safely landed both feet back on the ground you’ll swap the harness for a race car helmet and climb into a Mustang or V8 to experience three hot laps around the World Class Supersprint race track.
