Smelly Cheese Co. has announced two Cheese After Dark events that you’re not going to want to miss!
Join Adelaide’s best known cheese tragic Valerie Henbest at the upcoming Wednesday evening events and inject some cheese into your mid-week. Why wait for the weekend to share the best parts of life with friends?!
Located at their Adelaide Central Market shop, the delicious dates will culture guests on all things cheese! While the highly-anticipated Cheese After Dark Around the World will kick off tonight, Smelly Cheese Co will also be hosting an exciting after dark Oktoberfest event next Wednesday.
Along with these yummy events, Smelly Cheese Co. are hosting two additional extravagant celebrations of living the good life with cheese! These include their 20th Birthday Celebration on November 10 and a Christmas Celebration on December 1 with more details to come.
Cheese After Dark OktoberFest | Wednesday October 6
This cheese-filled event is a modern celebration of the ultimate German tradition – OktoberFest.
The event also will explore the extraordinary creativity of female icons of South Australia to create the perfect food, wine, and beer experience.
The evening will be presented by Valerie along with Smelly Cheese Co.’s good friends Barbara Knoll of Barossa Fine Foods, and Rose Kentish winemaker and brewer extraordinaire of The Sparkke Change Beverage.
The evening will include four cheeses paired with four smallgoods, two beers, and two wines.
It is truly a real celebration of food, wine, beer and three inspiring women, at the top of their industries.
Guests with all levels of food, wine and beer knowledge will be taken to flavours and experiences they have never experienced before.

Cheese After Dark Around the World | Wednesday September 29
We might not be able to travel the globe as easily lately, but Smelly Cheese Co. haven’t lost the ability to bring the world’s greatest cheeses to you.
Martin Moran from Mordrelle Wines will join Valerie to present an evening with five of their favourite cheeses from five different countries paired with unique and exclusive wines with a South American twist.
“This event ensures an explosion of unique flavours,” Valerie says.
“Your taste buds will be challenged with different styles of cheese from around the world, while learning a few tips on how to best enjoy them!”
