What is it about The Colour Run that makes people get so insanely excited? You’re basically taking a colour powder, similar to what gets used to celebrate Holi in the Braj region of India (that’s a commemoration of the divine love of Radha for Krishna in case your wanted the back story), and using it to break up a five kilometre circuit by throwing it around.
Come to think of it, it’s such a simple idea it’s utterly genius.
Adelaide has embraced the event in recent years amongst our growing list of charity/exercise events. So much so that The Colour Run crew are offering a special discount code to runners/skippers/streakers who sign up to secure their place before Midnight on Sunday.

At the Finish Festival, Color Runners will enjoy even more fun at Rainbow Beach, an interactive island featuring music, dancing, unique photo opportunities, and massive color throws.
