A new dive bar has opened on Moseley Street in Glenelg, bringing a mix of Japanese-American fusion dining with a nostalgic 90s grunge vibe. Bullet Club is where the energy of alternative rock meets modern flavours in a space that will take you straight back to the heart of grunge’s golden era.

The fit-out of Bullet Club captures the spirit and energy of 90s American bars. With an arcade machine loaded with Street Fighter and a Nintendo 64 console, this place is a throwback to a time when flannel shirts and pop culture icons ruled. The space oozes an edgy, rebellious vibe that matches its unique menu of Japanese and American fusion comfort food.

Bullet Club’s menu is a creative spin on traditional izakaya dining, taking Japanese ingredients and blending them with American-style comfort food in a way that’s hard to find anywhere else in Adelaide. The bar has plenty of small bites, including karaage mac n cheese balls, kimchi pancakes, karaage chicken, and more.

For something a bit more substantial, their sandwiches, or sandos come in options like crunchy chicken katsu, tender miso short rib, and an umami cheesesteak roll. You’ll also find crispy wings and fully loaded fries, but what is sure to be the real star of the menu is the onigiri. These traditional Japanese rice balls are stuffed with fillings like short rib and pickled mustard leaf, bringing a hearty spin on a traditional dish.

With live music playing throughout the week, Bullet Club will have the fun, electric vibe that 90s grunge fans can rock out late into the night. And for those with late-night cravings, they’ve got you covered with snacks like furikake fries and karaage chicken available well into the evening.

Bullet Club is located at 4 Moseley Street and is open late Tuesday through Sunday (closed Mondays), making it the perfect spot for a spontaneous night out. With its mix of nostalgic grunge vibes and modern Japanese comfort food, Bullet Club is a fresh new addition that Adelaide’s west has been craving.
