JayneAnnePowerIn an era where artists are increasingly turning to crowd funding, local chanteuse and soul power house Jayne-Anne Power is appealing to fans and supporters to help finish her fourth album.

The album had been 9 months in the making and showcases her award winning songwriting and signature RnB style.

“There a lot of buzz around crowd funding. People are happy to pre-order your album to help you make your art. It gets audiences more involved and it makes projects possible,” Jayne-Anne said.

“I’ve been amazed by the generosity of people, but I’ve still got a way to go to reach my target.”

To make this album, Jayne-Anne has joined forces with production team SIXFOUR Music – brother’s John and Paul Bartlett who have toured with Christina Aguilera and Alicia Keys and have four critically acclaimed albums and an ARIA nomination under their belt.

Jayne-Anne has plans to release the album overseas. “We’ve had successes in France and the US before, so releasing the album there is our focus. This style of music is big over there.”
