One of Australia’s most unique live music venues, Yarnbala, launches Summer of acoustic music in Coffin Bay

Yarnbala returns with exclusive Sounds of Yarnbala acoustic music experience in Coffin Bay, announcing a lineup of local talent.

This Summer, experience an immersive adventure of nature and music at Sounds of Yarnbala in Coffin Bay.

Yarnbala is one of South Australia’s last remaining vegetation communities of the grassy low she-oak woodland, supporting a diverse and dense understory of endemic species. As a collective they host three unique experiences, where guests can come together and connect with nature.

As an experience, Sounds of Yarnbala was birthed from the vision of bringing people together in nature, to relax, connect and experience the creative talents of incredible artists around a campfire. Hosted at the central meeting place of Yarnbala, which is a beautifully artistic and creative venue, be surrounded by the native Australian bushland, and the accompanying natural sounds and scenery.

The upcoming Summer season will run from December 27th 2024 until February 14th 2025. Throughout the duration, on select dates, a range of different talented artists will take the stage and perform. From relaxed acoustic sets and soulful voices to multi-instrumental and loop performances, Sounds of Yarnbala will create unforgettable music experiences.

Tickets are $38 and include live music from amazingly talented artists, an exclusive intimate location and courtesy bus transfers to and from Yarnbala. The transfers are provided from the Coffin Bay Yacht Club car park, and return transfers from Yarnbala are provided if guests wish to leave before the completion of the experience. Each night wood fired pizzas will also be available!

Yarnbala have two other experiences on offer, Wild Yarnbala, which is an immersive experience where guests can forage through bush food, discover ancient method of water divining and relax with a live performance of the didgeridoo and lap-steel guitar fused together whilst enjoying a renowned Coffin Bay gin or some wines or craft beers. 

Birds of Yarnbala is a tour where there are opportunities to witness amazing native birds which include a number of threatened species. Be led by knowledgeable guides and learn about both the birds and the amazing natural flora.
