South Aussie among seven Australians to win life-changing $2.75M lottery

Seven Australians celebrate as they each secure a division one Set for Life win, guaranteeing over $11,000 monthly for the next 20 years.

Seven lucky Aussies have just secured a financial future beyond their wildest dreams, each raising a glass to their division one wins in the Set for Life lottery. These winners are set to receive more than $11,000 every month for the next 20 years, marking a total prize of $2.74 million each.

Coming from the Set for Life draw 3476, drawn on Monday, February 10th 2025, the lucky tickets were spread across the nation, with two winners each from Victoria and Queensland, and one each from South Australia, New South Wales, and Western Australia.

Among the winners is a woman from Craigmore, who said “This is a complete shock to the system right now. It was just yesterday that I had a feeling that something good was coming my way. I even told my husband that it felt like the winds were finally changing.

“I can’t hold back the tears. This means so much.”

Each winning entry was purchased online, either through The Lott app or its official website, highlighting the growing popularity of digital lottery participation.

This brings the Set for Life division one wins to 155 nationally since the game’s inception. The tally for the financial year stands at 25, as The Lott continues to celebrate winners.

The significant contributions of lottery funds continue to support community initiatives throughout the country. Last year alone, more than $1.8 billion was donated from state lottery taxes to help in sectors such as health, education, and disaster relief.

As Australians continue to dream big with the help of national lotteries, the stories of winners like the Craigmore woman share an insight into the life-altering possibilities these games offer. With every ticket bought, participants not only edge closer to potentially securing their own futures but also contribute to valuable charitable causes that impact the wider community.
