Twenty-nine public art experiences have been recognised as the best in the country for art-loving visitors at the Australian Street Art Awards, the esteemed list of winners including iconic South Australian artwork.

These Awards started in 2018 as part of a vision to excite and entice Australians living in metropolitan cities and major centres to choose a domestic holiday to seek out the amazing street and public art that exists in every corner of Australia. From that humble beginning, it has grown into a national program of repute and a prestigious niche national tourism awards program.

Among the esteemed list of award winners, two fantastic South Australian artwork displays have taken gold at the prestigious awards show, taking out all other Australian competitions for the Best Mega Mural and Best Rural Art.

Honourable mentions the incredible displays that won awards Australia-wide and the two other South Australian artwork displays that won silver and bronze. Silver in Best Mega Mural went to the Brute Silo Art in Yorke SA and Bronze in Best Rural Art went to ‘The Golden Clydesdale’ in Coobowie SA.
