South Australia has more amazing wedding venues than we know what to do with. Choices can be overwhelming, but a little bit of research goes a long way, which is why we LOVED finding out that South Australia has landed two amazing destinations in the Top 10 Australian Wedding Ceremony Venues list.
The Top 10 venues were announced as part of the 2017 ABIA Bridal Awards, which placed Utopia at Waterfall Gully at #3, and the fabulous Longview Vineyard also in the Top 10. Marie Claire also highlighted some of their favs from the list, and included the SA locations. And who can blame them. They’re pretty fabulous.
Utopia also managed to score #3 for best Wedding Reception Restaurant!
Longview Vineyard landed top 10 for best Wedding Reception Centre, and in the Top 15 for best Wedding Function Co-ordinator.
We’ve also included Longview in our own list of South Australia’s best winery wedding venues.
Congrats to another great SA business who took home an award – DDS Diamond Design Studios got #2 in rings!
This venue grabbed their spot in the top 10 wedding ceremony locations for good reason. The beautiful scenery makes for a true dream when it comes to snapping up those perfect photo-ops. From the simple greenery of the vineyards, to the stunning landscapes as far as the eye can see, Longview is truly jaw-dropping.

Utopia at Waterfall Gully
Located at the base of Mount Lofty, and often the starting place for early morning hikes, this gorgeous venue placed in third position for the wedding ceremony location category. Offering both indoor and outdoor ceremony locations, this place is magical at every time of the year. With so much versatility to this spot, it’s no surprise as to why they win the awards.
