South Australian designer Paul Vasileff’s Paolo Sebastian stunned at this week’s Grammy Awards with superstars Karol G and Halle Bailey walking the red carpet in two absolutely gorgeous gowns.

Taking place on February 1st in Los Angeles, California, the 68th Annual Grammy Awards celebrated the very best in the music industry. The star-studded event saw Kendrick Lamar step away as the big winner of the night, with the rapper taking home five awards, including Best Rap Album for GNX and Record of the Year for Luther, a duet with SZA, who was seen wearing a Paolo Sebastian gown at a pre-Grammy event over the weekend.

American singer-songwriter SZA was styled by Briana Andalore in a Paolo Sebastian couture gown to the MusiCares Person of the Year Gala, honouring Mariah Carey. She wore a red draped Mikado gown with cape and waterfall bishop sleeves from the A Lover’s Kiss Collection. The A Lover’s Kiss 2024-2025 autumn-winter couture collection is an homage to the enduring narratives of legendary romances that have intrigued and moved audiences for centuries. SZA’s gown tells the tale of Psyche’s resolve to reunite with Cupid.

On the Grammys red carpet, Colombian singer-songwriter Karol G wore a Chantilly lace gown with cutwork organza detailing from Paolo Sebastian’s Scattered to the Winds 2025-2026 autumn-winter couture collection. The tulle corsetted dress was nude with pale blue lace and a dramatic fringe bottom. Karol G was nominated for Best Latin Pop Album for Tropicoqueta. This was her third nomination, previously being nominated for Best Música Urbana Album at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards, and winning Best Música Urbana Album for MAÑANA SERÁ BONITO at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards.

American actress and singer Halle Bailey also walked the carpet in Paolo Sebastian. She wore a corseted tea-length column gown, again from the Scattered to the Winds Collection. Her dress was a rich chocolate brown colour and featured intricate beaded embellishments. Halle is a six-time Grammy-nominated artist for Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best New Artist at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards, Best R&B Song, Best Progressive R&B Album and Best Traditional R&B Performance at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, and Best R&B Song at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards.
