We love seeing South Australians killing it in their business ventures and another SA owned and operated company is taking the hair world by storm and we couldn’t be prouder.

Professional haircare brand DunGüd (pronounced ‘Done Good’) has arrived with a promise to bring you the Güd, the whole Güd and nothing but the Güd with their original and innovative line of 16 unisex hair products.

Since launching in early 2020, the brand instantly shot to the big time catching the eye of two of the biggest names in fashion, Gucci and Adidas, and was the styling product of choice for a number of campaigns for the both the brands.

DunGüd is the by-product of two hair industry veterans and friends, Phil Taylor and Kass Nagi. The two joined forces with a vision to shake up both the barbering and hairdressing landscape simultaneously with their carefully formulated product line, which aims to bridge the gap between those two spaces.

Phil’s career began as a hairdresser in the late 90s, but over the past 17+ years, he’s worked in developing haircare brands, specialising in product development, hair education and marketing in many parts of the world.

The son of a barber, Kass Nagi was born into the industry and today owns several high-end contemporary men’s grooming spaces in Australia. Together they combine a wealth of experience and knowledge which has found its way into every bottle of DunGüd.

All DunGüd products are ethically made in Australia with a focus on native Australian plant-based ingredients, so you can get on with your day knowing you’re in Güd hands. DunGüd speaks to individuality, youth and a fashion-forward consumer with the line fast developing a cult following amongst leading boutiques, high-end salons and retailers.

“Although we want DunGüd to appear true to its vibrant and well-considered aesthetic, it’s the product performance however which speaks loudest”, says Phil, Co-Founder of DunGüd.

“There is meticulous attention to detail for each product in the range which in many cases takes an unconventional approach to deliver outstanding results, with the user’s experience always top of mind,” Phil continues.

DunGüd are going from strength to strength and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for the business.
