With approximately 12,00 foodies across the state casting their votes to determine the big winners from each category, the award-winning The Stunned Mullet was a clear favourite.
The runners-up in the fish and chip category were Port Noarlunga Fish & Chips, coming in at 2nd place, Coorong Cafe Food Van at 3rd, Angler in Stirling awarded 4th place, and House of Fish, rounding out the category in 5th.
For over 15 years since its establishment in March 2005 by Dino and Amanda Papadopoulos, The Stunned Mullet has not only served Henley Beach locals, beach-goers and foodies across the state, but has also consistently won multiple awards for its crispy chips and freshly cooked fish.
Their focus on providing a variety of sustainable fish species each day, coupled with meticulous on-premise filleting, has set a high standard in the industry. No stranger to accolades for their dedication, the shop has proudly won South Australia’s Best Fish and Chips at the Seafood Industry Awards each time it has been presented since 2007, including a string of wins at the 2017, 2018, and 2019 Australian Fish and Chips Awards.
