Vegans and vegetarians will soon have a new hub right in the CBD!
Popular vego and vegan eatery Let Them Eat have announced they will open a new stall at the Adelaide Central Market later this year, which will include a vegan deli, the first of its kind in South Australia.
Let Them Eat will offer market goers their signature range of vegetarian and vegan ready-to-eat meals including salads, tarts and fritters, lasagnes and desserts, as well as coffee.
The new stall, to launch in spring, will also feature a deli with a vegan delicatessen range, so expect meatless versions of your deli favourites.
The impending opening of Let Them Eat is part of a string of new tenants set to open at the Market in the coming months. Refurbishments and expansions of existing trader stalls are also underway.
The Adelaide Central Market has also just opened its new customer desk and concierge service – The Market Stall – at Stall R17 at the Southern End of the Market, just off Gouger Street. This will be a central location on the market floor for customers to hire trolleys, purchase market merchandise and gift cards, check in for events and ask questions about traders and products. The locally designed stall features a brand-new fit-out that reflects the heritage of the market, including red brick and timber countertops and industrial light fittings.
