How does a round of mini golf with a frothie sound? Well, you can now get just that at South Coast Brewing Co., who have officially opened their very own mini golf course.
Mini golf aficionados and families are in for a treat, as they can enjoy this fun activity from 12pm to 5pm, from Friday through to Sunday.
The purpose-built mini golf course is a great weekend escapade for groups of friends and families, featuring a variety of challenges and fun features such as tyres, barrels, uneven surfaces, bridges, and more. Amongst the course features, visitors should also be on the lookout for the mini golf hole with a moonshine contraption.
But there’s more to this course than just mini golf. Every swing taken on the course is not just for fun, but also to support a local sports community. All proceeds from the mini golf experience are being donated directly to the Willunga Cricket Club for them to undertake much-needed upgrades, so people can putt for a good cause.
Many people supported the mini golf course to bring it to life and have worked tirelessly to perfect every aspect of the course. Kind-hearted people even donated golf putters, with anyone else in the community with any unused putters lying around encouraged to contribute.
Now the finishing touches have been applied, people can play a round of mini golf for just $5 per participant or $15 for a group of four, so it’s a great way to get out and about.
Once you’ve finished a round of mini golf, why not head into the brewery for one of their beers? Located in Willunga, they are a small, independent microbrewery and all their beer is proudly brewed, bottled and packaged on site. The space has relaxing atmosphere in an interior boasting an industrial feel.
In their quest for the perfect sip, South Coast Brewing Co. doesn’t necessarily chase the most intense flavours, richest froths, or deepest amber hues, but rather they create beers that resonate with everyone, whether it’s the occasional drinker to the most discerning beverage connoisseur.
You can try one of their tasting paddles showcasing either dark beers or refreshing ales. Beer not your thing? Check out the range of wine or cider from one of the locally sourced artisans. If you’re in the mood for food, pizzas are available to order from The Redwood Oven.
And don’t forget to bring your four-legged friend and the kiddos along, as the brewery is dog and family friendly.
