Loosen those belt buckles Mount Gambier, Australia’s biggest beer, BBQ and music festival is heading to SA’s Limestone Coast this March and the lineup is looking juicy!
The South East Beer and BBQ Festival have announced its extensive beverage lineup, featuring some of the country’s best brewers, distillers, winemakers, and everything in between. It will keep you going all weekend.
Expect the most extensive beverage lineup to date as well, with over 80 brewers, distillers, and makers, including 24 producers making their festival debut.
Highlights of the highly-anticipated brewer lineup include Sydney’s Bracket Brewing and One Drop Brewing Co.along with The Mill Brewery and Sure Brewing from Victoria. These cutting-edge Aussie brewers are rarely seen outside major cities! These heavy hitters are joining an all-star crew of local Limestone Coast heroes like Beachport (SA),Little Rippa (SA),Loophole (SA),Noodledoof (VIC) and Mount Gambier’s very own Woolstore (SA)with South Australian stalwarts Pirate Life, Big Shed, Prancing Pony and Mismatch rounding out the beer brands on offer.

Not into beer or cider? Don’t stress. There will be plenty of wine, spirits, ciders, hard lemonades and non-alc options on offer. The “Not Beer” lineup for the South East Beer & BBQ Fest includes quality drops from Mount Gambier’s Good Intentions Wine Co (SA), Crooked Tooth (SA) and Limus Wine (SA), plus McLaren Vale’s Slow Lane (SA), and for those up for something a little harder,Mulligan’s (SA) will be serving up ice cold rum and drys all weekend.
But we know what you’re really here for, and that’s the BBQ lineup.
Keen punters can prepare some mouthwatering for some Burn City Smokers (VIC) classic USA low and slow, Whyalla’s Smokey Uppercuts (SA) and Mount Gambier’s own Lumberjack’s BBQ plus a rock star collab between Pirate Life Kitchen’s Rocky Oliveria and the team behind Australia’s best beef, Mayura Station. Filipino BBQ by Sydney’s Hoy Pinoy will be firing up along with Adelaide’s best fried chicken from Cheekies Hot Chicken
If that’s not enough, there’ll be an unmissable collaboration between SEBBF’s BBQ curators Kirby Shearing (Elementary by Soul Co) and Barossa Valley’s Alana Brabin (Big Bad Wolf), who also curates the menu for the Adelaide Beer & BBQ Festival in July.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! If you still have room to move, there is a cracking lineup of live music and entertainment including The Smith Street Band, Adelaide’s Blush & LOLA along with local act Sexy As Shit. Plus many, many more!
But if that’s still not enough, BMX and skating demonstrations will also be available for viewing while the
Southern Steak Showdown & Backyard BBQ Championships, masterclass panel discussions with brewers and chefs, a hotdog eating contest, axe throwing, a tattoo parlour, markets, a silent disco and the iconic Beer & BBQFest’sBeer Bod Wet T-Shirt Competition will make its regional debut.
