Southern Italian Flavours Coming Soon To Victoria Park

A stunning new eatery is coming our way Adelaide, so saddle up! The Stables of Victoria Park is opening in early February and will be specialising in Southern Italian flavours (delicious!). Think wood oven pizzas and porchetta slow-roasted on charcoal right by the historic entry to Victoria Racecourse.

The beautiful heritage-listed Bookmakers’ League building has been transformed to make this concept eatery, after remaining empty for 15 years. We love seeing Adelaide’s historical venues being transformed and reinvented in a new light, and we feel like The Stables of Victoria Park will be doing just that.

With Chef David Carapella offering Italian cuisine which will be sourced from local produce suppliers, we can be sure that the menu will be packed full of flavour. Serving breakfast and lunch, and opening at night for functions, there will be something for every occasion. This stunning site seems like it’ll be the perfect location for weddings, birthdays, and everything else in between.

There is also talk that The Stables will be bringing the community to Victoria Park by running morning fitness, yoga sessions, children holiday events and Sunday sessions for families (just to name a few).

As well as a gorgeous restaurant and community activities, there are plans to eventually make a store. Yes, that’s right, a store! Selling flowers and plants, as well as an eventual plan to make and sell their own home-made bread and honey, The Stables truly looks set to be a unique spot. A definite one to watch!
