Winter weather begs for hearty, belly-filling pastas, and at Adelaide Hills’ popular pasta restaurant, Spaghetti Head, authentic Italian dishes are made while you watch.
If you can’t decide between the Italian classic, Spaghetti with clams in a tomato-based, garlic, wine and chilli sauce, or the fresh pasta and beef cheek Ragu, Spaghetti Head can help you avoid decision-fatigue, with exclusive Sunday sittings, of bottomless pasta’s paired with some of your favourite classic cocktails, creating the ultimate winter dining experience.
Ash and Amanda from Aldgate’s cosiest little Italian eatery, make their range of pasta fresh daily, in an open-style restaurant where customers can get all the feels of Italy, while watching the Chef’s prep their mouth-watering meals.

While any day is a great day to call in for a delicious Five Senses coffee and an assortment of Spaghetti Head’s famous pastries and Italian sweets, Sundays are proving a popular day for a drive to the hills for the two-hour lunch and dinner session, offering the up-market all-you-can-eat pasta and cocktail deal.
We’re not talking buffet-style….for $69 diners will be treated to a selection of the Chef’s chosen Italian dishes, which might range from the signature Spaghetti Head pasta (garlic, chili, parsley, Grana Padano Italian cheese and crispy breadcrumb Pangrattato), to Mafaldine Bolognese, made with beef and pork and topped with delicious Pecorino cheese.
The bottomless cocktail jug menu, includes a variety to suit most tastes, with Aperol Spritz, Coco-Passion Mojito, Elderflower and Lemon Gin Fizz, Lychee and Rose-Spritz and spiced Sangria.
Established in October 2021, Spaghetti Head was an idea that came to life for Amanda Cordina and Ash Sleiman. The Adelaide hills (soon-to-be married) couple believed the area needed another restaurant that introduced the locals to fresh, authentic Italian dishes.
Amanda, a trained chef from Melbourne has plenty of experience working in Italian kitchens, and just wanted to create a place for people to be able to enjoy fresh pasta close to home.

Spaghetti Head believes in letting fresh produce speak for itself, by making fresh, light and simplistic pasta dishes. “This is truly what Italian cuisine and pasta is about,” said Ash.
During the day, a selection of breakfast options, antipasti, panini, pasta and desserts are available, and in the evenings, daily made fresh pasta is on the menu, as well as other Italian inspired dishes.
Amanda and Ash also have a unique take-home menu, which makes feeding the family after a long winter’s day, simple, satisfying and hearty.
If you want to learn how to make your own range of pasta shapes, you can join the Spaghetti Head crew for a pasta making class. For $100 per person, you can enjoy antipasti, a glass of wine, and a bowl of delicious pasta, while learning how to make unique pasta shapes on Tuesday nights from 6pm to 9pm.
Bookings for both the pasta-making classes and the bottomless Sunday sessions are essential.
