Spanish Nibbles Come To Modbury

Is that the sound of Flamenco? A new Spanish tapas bar has arrived in Adelaide’s north-eastern suburbs.

Popular dining destination 1877 Pasta and Wine Bar has been renamed to become Boca Chica Bar after getting a redesign of its inspiration, interior and menu. The now Spanish-inspired bistro and bar will inject some Latin flavour into the Sfera’s Park Suites & Convention Centre in Modbury.

Reopening last week, Boca Chica’s new menu offers a tantalising range of tapas, cured meats and grazing plates, with larger options like Paella for the hungrier.

To whet your throat after those delicious options, La Boca Chica offers wine flights that will take you on a viticultural voyage through Spain’s wine-growing regions. Or maybe soak up the sunshine with a sangria or cocktail on the verandah.

So if you’re keen to lounge about with some tapas and a glass of tempranillo (and you are), give La Boca Chica Bar a call on 8397 8677 or visit their Facebook page for more info.
