Summertime has well and truly arrived in South Australia, and as temperatures keep rising, so does our thirst for cold boozy beverage by the beach – luckily two SA producers have answered our hot weather prayers.

Full Circle Spirits and Sparkke have joined forces to take their drinks to the Fleurieu Peninsula seaside with a new pop-up bar at Factory 9 in Port Elliot.

The distilling and brewing duo decided to give the Fleurieu a taste of what they have to offer, slinging their renowned beers and fancy spirits to locals, holiday-goers and everyone in-between this summer.

Inside the industrial warehouse fit-out of Factory 9 resides the pop-up, where guests can expect the temporary booze haven to act as a part cellar door, part rustic bar for the two brands until January 30.

Taste your way through the incredible craft beers brewed by the guns at Sparkke and quench your thirst on their Carbon Zero froths – who knew being sustainable could taste this great! Take your taste buds to the tropics with their fruity Carbon Zero IPA or treat yourself to a classic larger.

If cocktails and G&T’s are more your style, you’ll be getting acquainted with Full Circle Spirits. From lemon & thyme to orange & bay and a unique green olive gin – you’ll be able to taste the subtle botanicals starring in each of the Full Circle gins. Wash your worries away as you sip on the summer cocktail range created with the award-winning spirits. Like what you tried? Bottles of Full Circle Spirits will also be available to purchase at Factory 9, letting you re-create the boozy holiday magic at home.

For the curious and indecisive, the pop-up bar is also selling brew paddles and a self-guided gin flight, letting guests journey through the flavours of the South Australian products.

An array of DJ’s will be setting the summertime soundtrack throughout the January sessions, with DJ Es’Ay spinning vinyl in the outside courtyard this Saturday, January 15 from 2-6pm.

And of course, with great drinks and music must come great food, with Sparkke at the Whitmore’s head chef Kelly Delaney curating a special tapas menu to champion the beers and spirits on offer at Factory 9.

“People can expect a relaxed and refreshing bar and cellar door experience that aligns with the incredible line-up of amazing local artisans and bespoke businesses at Factory 9,” says Sparkke’s Promotion and Campaign manager, Bridget Kane.

“We’re here to keep the holiday feeling alive one tipple at a time.”

Sparkke at Factory 9 is open until January 30, from Wednesday to Sunday, midday until late.

Find Factory 9 at 89-91 Hill Street, Port Elliot.
