The Sparkke Change Beverage company have launched a new campaign titled “Climate Change is a Burning Issue,” with an American Red Ale. The ale is currently available on tap at Sparkke at the Whitmore.
Sparkke Co-Founder, Kari Allen says that the inspiration behind the campaign is the devastation that the recent fires have had on Australia, and their connection with climate change.
Allen says, ‘ We want our Red Ale’s message to keep the conversation going about climate change and the very real effects that we’re experiencing.’
Throughout January, 25% of the sales will be donated to the Kangaroo Island Mayoral Relief and Recovery Bushfire Fund.
In March this year, the beer will be added to the core range of the Sparkke Change Beverage company, meaning it will be available nation-wide.
The ale is characterised by its deep hints of peach, tropical fruit and pine resin. The Red Ale was brewed at the on-site micro-brewery at Sparkkle at the Whitmore. The team pride themselves on trying new things, this ale being one of them, that has taken three trials over four months to perfect.
