Sparkling Fest returns to the National Wine Centre

Calling all champagne and sparkling lovers! Sparkling Fest returns to the National Wine Centre this September and October with a line-up of incredible tasting events.

The National Wine Centre of Australia is bringing back one of their most iconic events, well-loved by fans of fizz across South Australia.

The annual Sparkling Fest, is a celebration of all things bubbles, with an exciting series of events on offer that best showcase some of the world’s best sparkling wine and champagne. 

Taking place throughout September and October Sparkling Fest 2021 will feature a Sparkling vs Champagne dinner, an ultimate showdown of which bubbly can take home the crown, as well as a number of educational masterclasses where sparkling lovers can really get to the bottom of their favourite beverage (literally!). 

While the full list of each masterclass and speakers are still being kept under wraps, the event is an ideal day out for champagne and sparkling connoisseurs as well as bubbly novices looking to learn more about the sophisticated world of sparkling. 

The Sparkling vs Champagne dinner (23 September) will see guests tuck into a sumptuous four course Seafood extravaganza, prepared by Executive Chef Steven Clark, paired with some of South Australia’s best local sparkling and their French counterparts. 

Guided through the menu by the National Wine Centre’s expert Head Sommelier James Boden the night will be a fascinating deep dive into the intricate world of sparkling and champagne. 

For those looking to whet their appetite for international bubbles, an extensive range of global names will be on offer for tastings at Sparkling Fest’s flagship event on 24 October, with those looking to level up their Sparkling Fest experience offered the all-inclusive Gold Lounge experience. 

With incredible local live musicians keeping you entertained while you sip throughout the day, a plethora of mouth-watering festival foods will also be available including Fresh Streaky Bay oysters, cheese and paella, the perfect culinary pairing to whichever glass of bubbles you have in your hand. 

With a limited number of tickets on offer for this booking-only event, fizz fans should run and not walk for their chance to attend this incredible festival of fizz.
